29th June
The new week began with a briefing by Aaron and Ben Zhi to the volunteers from Leo Club. After acquiring permission from Pengetua and Puan Nizam, teacher advisor of the club, the team and Leo members set out to do the clean up of the garden site. In two hours, the pond had been cleared of most debris. During this time, Ben Zhi had drawn out a schematic diagram of the garden site using the computer, with editing by Aaron. Zhi Peng and Ivan were out at work on the site with the Leos. We were happy to have Pengetua Lily, Mr. Loh and Puan Nizam visiting us and lending a hand during the project. Besides that, INTI officials had dropped by at school to give us a briefing on the campaign initiatives. Aaron presented the team’s objectives and it was well received by them. Below are photos of the events of the day, with thanks to Leo Club members Kamal, Aaron, Bryan, J-Shawn, Nicholas, Jordan, Trilokesh, Rajesh and Amirul, and to Nandha for being the photographer.

Day 6
30th June
Though it was Open Day at school, the team still set out to do some of the tasks at hand. Early in the morning, our teacher advisors met us to discuss some details with us. The official launching of the campaign will be Monday next week, while we will be doing the team’s launch on Tuesday. At the end of the discussion, we ended up having so much more ideas and suggestions from them, though at first we were unsure of whether such proposals will change or alter our initial plans. We spent the day not really thinking of much, as a lot were on our minds. Aaron had brought his laptop and camera to further our documentation, while Ivan and Zhi Peng had designed our team logo. Ben Zhi was figuring out the piping details. We decided that it was best to contact both the one in charge of the piping as well as the official from the Forest Reserve Department before fitting in any sort of mechanisms. Some things are best meant to be decided later. Aaron also snapped some pictures of the site today, and although it looked altered, it was just the stepping stone. Enjoy…
